But there’s one question that we get asked a lot; ‘Who are Vixen Optics and why can’t I find any information about the riflescopes on the Vixen website?’

The answer is pretty simple really. This exceptional Japanese optical manufacturer has been wowing astronomers and bird and animal watchers with their quality telescopes, spotting scopes and binoculars since 1949. Vixen’s primary customer base was originally in Japan and they continue to have a very strong Japanese following for their star gazing and animal watching equipment. As recreational hunting and shooting isn’t common place in Japan and indeed the majority of customers there are animal lovers, when the brand launched their riflescope range, they were very conscious that they did not want to upset their customer base in the region by showcasing the riflescopes on their site and decided to leave it to retailers such as ourselves in other parts of the world to provide information about them.
